Mardi is a multi-disciplinary artist working with resin, steel, paint, and photography. She has produced large scale artworks and moderate scale sculpture commissions for public spaces. Her photography has been chosen in juried exhibitions.

Her background and training was in oil painting at San Francisco State University, which she pursued after being dissatisfied with a career path utilizing her B.S. in Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz. She received minimal exposure to sculpture before launching into this exciting medium. She soon learned welding, and assisted a professional metalworker to learn more about this medium. The resin work approach is self-taught, as is the photography.

Mardi Storm has a deep interest in dreams, mythology, and the spirit world and prefers to play in the transition between these realms, and honors the transformational path of the soul through this mystery called life.
